Anti Ragging Cell - Overview

         The Government Degree College, Jammalamadugu strictly observe Anti Ragging principles in the college. It is a very touchy subject and a dreaded word. It involves abuse, humiliation or harassment of new entrants or junior students by the senior students which is strictly forbidden in and out of the college campus.

The Anti Ragging Committee of GDC, Jammalamadugu is very active and often insists on the self esteem and dignity of every student in the college. It ensures over all discipline of the college environment.

The committee made sudden visits to the class soon after the admission to check any undisciplined activities in the college. It tries to sensitize students about the evils of ragging and its prevention in the college. The committee conducted an awareness program on "Ragging Laws and Punishments" to the people who involved in undisciplined activities
