 PROFILE

 INTRODUCTION

 “ The study of past events,particularly in human affairs .

 The Department of History Commenced with the Establishment of the College In the Academic year 1979-80 and since its Inception it has been Functioning Under the Administrative control of the Principal college with an overall Control of the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Andhra Pradesh. As a feeder college to Yogivemana University, KADAPA, and the Department has been Functioning under the Academic control of the Yogivemana  University.

HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of History is one of the earliest departments in the college started in 1980 as part of BA (H.E.P) Group with Telugu medium. It started strength of 60 students. The built-up area of the Department is 34.73 Sq. M.  several dedicated lecturers., worked in the department. At present one sanctioned post in the department. Now Dr. K.sreenivasa Reddy, Assistant Professor working in the Department. 

 Importance of History

The student of History have  to study the Following papers such as Ancient Indian history Medieval Indian history ,Modern Indian History,modern Andhra History,history and culture of Andhra, Modern world history china japan history Indian national movement,science and Human past tourism Guidance,tourism Hospitality Services.
